He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University, Illinois and later continued his academic pursuit with a Professional Diploma in Training and Development from University Malaya, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Strategic Management from The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, and a Masters in Corporate Communication from University Putra Malaysia. He is a certified competency practitioner (ILM, UK) and a certified training professional (ILM, UK).
Samsudin delivers his session/project with a wealth of experience in terms of practical knowledge and well rounded exposure of end-to-end HR Management functions
Samsudin began his career in the manufacturing industry practicing Industrial Engineering. He then served the telecommunication industry for 12 years, starting as an Industrial Engineer documenting processes and setting work standards in 1991 and then moved to Manpower Planning, HRIS, and Personnel Administration. His last role before leaving the industry was in Performance and Consequent Management.
To pursue his interest in people development, Samsudin joined the Takaful industry in 2002 as a People Developer, serving leading Takaful Operators until 2011 where he introduced structured development programs which align individuals to organizational philosophy, strategy and performance. He also championed the corporate culture development. His last role before leaving the industry was as a Director of HR & Admin.
Since leaving the corporate world, Samsudin is involved in various training as well as HR consulting assignments, locally as well as abroad, serving Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Government industries.
